This gives you a complete picture of your oral health with no commitment. If you need a cleaning, we schedule it separately (cleanings cost more or less depending on whether you need a routine cleaning vs. a deep cleaning — we’ll let you know which you need at the exam).
For patients with dental insurance, we bill your insurance for the exam and X-rays first. The $79 special applies if your insurance doesn’t cover the full cost, or if you’re uninsured.
Free Invisalign consultation
Considering Invisalign? Our initial consultation is free and includes:

Second-opinion consultations
If you’ve been told elsewhere that you need significant dental work — extensive crowns, multiple extractions, full mouth rehabilitation, aggressive implant plans — a second opinion is often worthwhile. We offer second-opinion consultations for a flat $79 that includes:
- Review of your existing records and X-rays
- Independent clinical exam
- Our own treatment plan recommendation (which may differ, may match, or may be more conservative)
- Honest discussion of the rationale for our recommendation
We don’t try to win you as a patient by discrediting your current dentist’s plan. If the plan you’ve received is reasonable, we’ll tell you. If it seems unnecessarily aggressive, we’ll explain why and offer a different approach.
Membership plan (for patients without insurance)
Our in-office membership plan is different from our new-patient specials — it’s an ongoing annual program that provides discounted rates on routine and treatment services. See our membership plan page for full details.
Summary: annual fee covers 2 cleanings, 2 exams, and X-rays per year, plus 15-20% off additional treatment. Often a better financial arrangement for uninsured patients than paying à la carte.
Referral program
Existing patients who refer new patients receive:
- $25 credit toward their next dental service when their referral completes a first appointment
- $50 credit if the referred patient completes major treatment (crown, implant, orthodontics)
Credits are non-transferable and applied at your next visit. No limit on number of referrals.
Military family appreciation (Luke AFB — Glendale location specifically)
Active duty service members and their families receive:
- 10% courtesy discount on any services not fully covered by TRICARE Dental Program
- Priority scheduling for active duty sponsors to maintain dental readiness
- Coordination with the 56th MDG Dental Clinic for referred care

What we don’t do
Honesty on a few common promotional tactics:
- We don’t run “free exam” promotions that require you to also commit to treatment. The $79 special above is genuinely just an exam.
- We don’t do low-price implant promotions. $500-$1,000 implant ads almost always have fine print about additional required procedures that bring total cost back to market rate or higher. Our implant pricing is $4,000-$6,500 all-in and transparent. See our implant guide.
- We don’t pressure patients to accept treatment plans. You take the plan home, think about it, ask questions, get second opinions if you want.
- We don’t advertise “painless dentistry” as a gimmick. Modern dentistry is comfortable for most procedures; sedation is available for anxious patients (see our sedation guide). “Painless” is marketing language rather than a meaningful claim.
